The Language Schoolhouse offers Spanish language lessons to young children and their caregivers in central Iowa. Children are exposed to Spanish through fun, age & developmentally appropriate hands-on methods including: songs & music, dramatic play, storytelling & books, arts & crafts, rhymes, puppets, and more. Group lessons are conducted primarily in the Spanish language allowing the children to immerse themselves in the language and culture.
We primarily serve children ages birth to five in community classes and child care enrichment programs but will consider special requests from other age-groups including school-age children and adults, etc. Please call us with your request and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
The Language Schoolhouse looks forward to growing and expanding our services in the future to include a variety of languages, with different days/class times, a new location, and to people of all ages. Please let us know of any services you would like to see us add in the future.
