Classes will be taught by Carrie Trujillo, owner and program director of the Language Schoolhouse.  Carrie began her Spanish language studies at the age of 13, has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Spanish from the University of Northern Iowa, and has traveled to Mexico on a variety of occasions to study and live. Carrie was previously employed by and is a trainer for Child Care Resource & Referral of Central Iowa offering classes on a variety of early childhood education topics in English & Spanish to child care providers.  Carrie is one of only two bilingual trainers in the state of Iowa certified as a trainer for the Program for Infant & Toddler Care.   Carrie’s career path has made her realize her love for the education of young children and for the Spanish language and hopes to share this love through her work in the Language Schoolhouse.
